Spending Money Means Paying Taxes

Yes, almost every time we spend money, we are paying taxes. Want a refresher?

Beyond the taxes paid when the money was earned:

  • Sales tax
  • Property tax
  • Licenses
  • Permits
  • Service fees and charges

Be careful spending your cash . . .

Remember, it sometimes pays to earn less and do more yourself . . . you will pay less taxes. Also, don't forget barter and buying from private parties on Craigslist and at yard sales . . . no taxes.
