Book Recommendation: The Old Farmer's Almanac

More an annual publication than a book, The Old Farmer's Almanac is a very good read.  The almanac concept has its origins going back to founding father, Ben Franklin who published Poor Richard's Almanac.

Each year the almanac provides information on the following:

  • Calendars
  • Holidays and observances
  • Best days to plant, hunt, and fish
  • Tide tables
  • Gardening
  • Weather
  • Farming
  • Recipes
  • Assorted advice
  • Entertainment

I recommend adding it to your reading list.
