Quality of life is important to all of us-- part of life is family.  Kids can be challenging at times, here are some ideas on how to be a better parent:

• Be tough, but fair-- going too easy on them doesn't prepare them for life
• Treat them all equally-- try not to play favorites
• Do things for them-- help them and teach them
• Do things with them-- spend time with them, it is more valuable than money
• Expect things from them-- how else will they learn respect and responsibility?

Being a parent isn't easy, but it can be rewarding . . . at times.
