Do You Have a Yard Sale Shopping List?

You should be regularly shopping yard sales for certain "bargain basement" sales.  In fact, many items should be bought almost exclusively at yard sales. The items that come to mind include:

  • Tools
  • Garden supplies
  • Yard furniture
  • Tarps
  • Fishing gear and other sporting goods
  • Books

These are just a few of the items I have looked for and found at "rock bottom" prices at yard sales. The beauty of a list is twofold: 1) It keeps you focused on your objectives and 2) A list can be shared with family, friends, and neighbors-- the more people who know what you need the better. I have both a mental and paper wish list of items I need.

Finally, I also look for items I can sell on eBay at a much higher price. This list includes:

  • Baseball cards
  • Comic books
  • Books
  • Music CDs
  • Movie DVDs
  • Other collectibles

Happy hunting!
