A quick report and some tips.  Mrs. DDFD and I finished our Christmas shopping on Saturday.  We did it right-- paying cash!  Most of our fellow shoppers (really everyone that I saw) paid with plastic . . .

We usually get the job done in a matter of hours.  How do we do it?  We always have:

• a budget
• a list (the kids are asked to provide this)
• a plan of attack

We factored in a lunch out (unusual for us)-- a nice break in the action.  Doing it this particular weekend each year seems to work well for us . . .
