Words of Wisdom: Mickey Mantle
Mickey Mantle was an American Hall of Fame baseball player spending his entire career with the New York Yankees. He was a home run hitter and holds many records-- here are some of his quotes:
- I don't care who you are, you hear those boo's
- When I hit a home run I usually didn't care where it went. So long as it was a home run was all that mattered
- I guess you could say I'm what this country is all about
- Somebody once asked me if I ever went up to the plate trying to hit a home run. I said, 'Sure, every time.'
