Are You Loose and/or Lazy?

Are you a loose woman or a lazy man?  Recently, I was talking to Clair Schwan, of Frugal-Living-Freedom.com and the Self-Reliance-Exchange.com, about what's wrong with our country financially.  In that conversation, I used the phrase, "People are just loose and lazy . . . "

If you are frugal, you probably knew what this phrase meant . . .

People are loose with money as if it has no or little value, it is unending in supply. and should be blown on whims.  People are also lazy.  They pay people to do things they could and should do for themselves.  If you are a long-term reader, you know I have solutions and recommendations to avoid being loose and lazy:

  • Be selective with purchases
  • Think hard about where your money is spent-- most people don't know
  • Look at your closet-- do you wear everything?
  • Max out your employee benefits
  • Meet basic needs first
  • Save money
  • Read educational materials
  • Learn new skills
  • Practice what you know
  • DIY

Tighten up and do something to help yourself!
