Words of Wisdom: Roger Federer
Roger Federer is a Swiss professional tennis player-- is a very calm, consistent, and dominating player. Personally, I refer to him as "The Machine"-- he is so consistent and makes it look so easy. Here are a few quotes we might all learn something from:
- I have learnt to be even more patient
- Early in my career, I struggled with consistency, but I couldn't get more consistent than this year
- I can't stay No. 1 for fifty years, you know. We'll see what happens
- This doesn't happen every day so you better enjoy this moment
- It doesn't get any easier. You go out and try to hang in and put as much pressure on him as possible
- Once you've lived through all of that, you're a changed player
- It was more of giving him a taste of what he had given me
- No, I'm not (disappointed). There's no reason to be because I'm on an incredible run. You always expect a loss once in a while. So when it happens, why be disappointed if I win over 90% of my matches
