What if you went into town to the grocery store and the shelves were bare?  Most grocery stores have about 3-6 days worth of inventory-- what would you do if they weren't there?

I have touched on this topic before . . . Why Do We Only Prepare or Act After a Problem or Disaster?

I am not talking about "The End of the World as We Know it" (EOTWAWKI), but I am talking about a serious disruption.  Hogwash, you say?  What kind of disruption?

• Terrorist attacks
• Natural disasters (Are You Prepared For a Natural Disaster?)
• Medical emergencies
• Strikes, boycotts, or embargoes
• Rationing or restrictions

I think you get the idea . . .

So, what would you do?

• Raid the frig
• Raid the freezer (Our Frozen Assets)
• Raid the pantry

Then what?

• Do you have a garden?
• Do you fish?
• Do you hunt?
• Do you have canned goods?
• DO you have long term stores and provisions?

Have you even considered the possibility?  Do you have a plan (Website Review: FEMA Planning and Preparedness)?  Perhaps you should start thinking about self reliance and self sufficiency-- even in a small way.
