DivorcedDadFrugalDad.com's First Anniversary is Today!
Today is the first anniversary of DivorcedDadFrugalDad.com. The first post, (An Introduction . . . ) went up at 11:15 PM EST on August 15, 2008. In that first post, I mentioned that I would explore:
- Personal savings
- Investment
- Debt management
- Revenue production
Further, I would also share my ideas on:
- Simple living
- Green living
- Most importantly, ways to lead a better quality of life despite the circumstances forced upon a divorced dad or anyone on a limited budget--I am a big believer in quality over quantity
I feel I succeeded in doing all that and then some . . . I have worked hard at making this a frugal and quality lifestyle site. I also launched two specialized spinoff sites (One on D-Day and the other on Independence Day):
What is ahead for this site?
- More quality posts
- New features
- Book reviews
- Movie reviews
- What the Heck is It? reviews
- Lookback posts
- More specialized spinoff sites
I am reaching yet another milestone today-- my very next post will be my 700th .
As always, more to come . . .

Congratulations! I've always enjoyed reading your thoughts, encouragement and observations. You have a great style that is clear and simple, and that has created an informative and refreshing site that never "runs dry," even after a year.
I am honored to be the first on your blogroll and the first guest post on your site as well. Here's to the next 700 posts. May the force stay with you!
