The Whole You . . .

Frugality is a big part of this site.  Hey, it's even in the site's name.  However, frugality is only a part of the "Whole You".

I define the "Whole You" as a collection of values, skills, talents, attributes, and characteristics that make you-- you.  If you look, you will see many posts about these attributes sprinkled throughout this site.

Here are some of the pillars or foundations of the "Whole You":

  • Frugality
  • Self Reliance and Self Sufficiency
  • Self Improvement and Development
  • Productivity and Organization
  • DIY Skills
  • Quality Living

These days people are starting to react to certain situations (like the recession) by making some changes-- for example, temporary frugality is suddenly very popular.  My view is:

  • Why not take the active approach to this temporary situation to work on the "Whole You"?
  • Why not improve your life-- all around?
  • Why not move forward with new choices that improve you and your quality of life permanently?

When you think about it:

  • What can you learn today?
  • What can you do to help yourself?
  • Where can you start to better control your finances?
  • How can you get more quality in your life?
  • How can you improve?

There are many other questions to ask yourself, but let's keep it simple and get started . . .
