Words of Wisdom: Howard Hughes
Howard Hughes was an American billionaire. He was an eccentric who was originally unafraid of anything-- rolling up his sleeves and getting his proverbial hands dirty. Later in life he had serious issues with germs. Here are some of his quotes:
- The human brain is still undergoing rapid adaptive evolution
- Never make a decision. Let someone else make it and then if it turns out to be the wrong one, you can disclaim it, and if it is the right one you can abide by it
- I wanted to see New York . . . so I tried to see how fast I could do it in
- Play off everyone against each other so that you have more avenues of action open to you
- I'm not a paranoid deranged millionaire. Goddamit, I'm a billionaire
- Every man has his price, or a guy like me couldn't exist
- Once you consent to some concession, you can never cancel it and put things back the way they are
