Not sure if you're looking for guest posts from people without an active blog, but I just had a car buying experience I'd be happy to write about.

Welcome David.  No, you don't have to have a site to guest post on this site.

Car buying experiences could be good or bad-- if you can outline an approach (tips) to have a good experience or avoid a bad one, that would make for a very good post.
