More Thoughts on Simple Living

Simple living should be just that-- simple!

If you want to live simple, start by identifying what is important.  Elevate that important thing or aspect in your life and eliminate everything else.

Here's my approach:

  • What matters to you?  Family, friends, time . . .
  • What do you need?
  • What do you want?
  • Does ____________ (fill in the blank) add to your life or take away from it?
  • Do you use it?  How often?
  • Does it cost you extra money?
  • Is it a "Gotta Have" or a "Nice to Have"?

Asking yourself these questions will help you figure out what matters and what doesn't pretty fast.

How do you simplify your life?
