How to Make the Most of Saturday Morning
Last weekend, I once again reinforced my belief in getting an early start on the weekend (Why I Like Getting Up Early on the Weekend). I got some much done before lunch. Once again, I look forward to getting loads of stuff done tomorrow. If you want to get things done on a Saturday, follow these simple steps:
- Have a plan or a to-do list-- know what you need to get done (The Joy of To-Do Lists)
- Be on the road between 6:00-10:00 AM-- avoid traffic and be there when places open
- Be back at the house around 11:00 AM and do tasks until 2:00 PM-- everyone is now up and out
- Consider a nap-- a reward and recharge (Sunday Afternoon Naps)
- Relax and enjoy the balance of the day-- leisure time (15 Things to Do With Your Spouse or Partner)
I have said it before, I can usually get more done before noon than most get done in an entire weekend.
