DaddyCooksQuick.com is Launched Today

Today, I am pleased to announce that I have launched a sister site to DivorcedDadFrugalDad.com.  The new site is DaddyCooksQuick.com, a site dedicated to cooking quality meals that are quick and easy.  This is the first post from the new site, Welcome to DaddyCooksQuick.com.

DaddyCooksQuick.com will focus on building, running, and enjoying a healthy, frugal kitchen.  The emphasis will be on quick and tasty meals that impress your significant other and the kids.  This site will be different than DivorcedDadFrugalDad.com in that it will go into more detail and step by step's, as well as feature posts that won't appear on DivorcedDadFrugalDad.com.  Finally, because it will be more cooking focused, it will be better indexed and easier to use for cooking and recipe ideas.

The new site will include the following features:

  • Recipes
  • Reader recipes
  • How to's
  • Kitchen builders
  • Drinks (soft and adult)
  • Book reviews
  • Product recommendations
  • Grocery shopping
  • Vegetable gardening
  • Cooking quotes and jokes
  • Profiles on famous cooks
  • Shared resources

My greatest hope is that more dads (and moms) get comfortable in the kitchen.  I am self taught-- Hey, if I can do it, so can you!

I am also hopeful that readers will submit their own recipes that I will publish and credit to them.  The format I follow is this:

  • What you need
  • What to do
  • How to serve with side dish suggestions
  • Please include timing
  • Nutrition and calorie info is at your discretion

Here is the email address to submit them to or to contact me if you would like with questions and suggestions-- DaddyCooksQuick @ gmail dot com (Please remove the spaces and make "dot" a period).

My posting schedule on DaddyCooksQuick.com will start out at about 2-3 posts per day as I migrate some of my recipes and related posts over from DivorcedDadFrugalDad.com, and then will settle into one post per day after a month or so.

I am also adding the link to this site's Blogroll.  I encourage you to visit DaddyCooksQuick.com today.
