Are You Ready?
Many times we need to be ready for things. I often wonder how many times opportunities pass us by because we aren't ready. Problems hit us harder if we aren't ready.
What things am I talking about being ready for:
- Opportunity
- Money-- Do you have some money set aside?
- Skills-- Do you have the skills?
- Freedom-- Do you have the flexibility?
- Disaster
- Natural Are You Prepared For a Natural Disaster?
- Otherwise Floods, Earthquakes, and Cyber-Terrorists All in the News
- A big idea
- Product/service New Product/Service Ideas
- Business Always Carry a Pen and Paper
- Jobs
- New position
- Promotion
- Relationships
- Family
- Friends
- Romantic
- Death
- Will-- Do you have one?
- Life insurance Buy Term Life Insurance and Invest the Difference?
Being "ready" can mean being prepared:
- Mentally Manage Your Expectations . . .
- Emotionally Do-Overs and Redirected Choices
- Physically-- How is your health?
- Financially-- Is Your Financial House in Order?
- Educationally Think About Learning Another Skill or Trade and Now May Be the Time to Retool . . .
The way to be ready? Prepare, organize, and act (You've Got to Start Somewhere, So Chunk It! and The Joy of To-Do Lists).
