Another Quality, Recipe Packed, Freebie From the Supermarket
I am always on the lookout for free recipes and tips books at the supermarket-- a real money saving and frugal idea. About a week ago, I found the one pictured above. It contains grilling and BBQ tips, cooking times, a discussion on cuts of meat, as well as several very interesting recipes.
Here is one I plan on trying tonight--Honey-Glazed Chicken.
Here's what you need:
- 6-8 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup of Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 1/2 cup of olive oil
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons mustard
Here's what to so:
- Mix ingredients to create a marinade
- Set aside 1/4 of marinade to use for basting while grilling
- Marinade chicken with the other 3/4 mix for several hours
- Grill chicken as usual flipping and basting until done about 10 minutes on each side
Enjoy!
