Staying Healthy is Frugal-- Some Tips
Getting sick costs money. Doctors, medications (scripts or OTC), lost time from work, etc. Even with medical insurance you usually get hit with something-- a flexible spending account helps. But what about a preventative plan?
What can you do to stay healthy?
- Eat right (Every day)
- Exercise and be active (Regularly)
- Get enough sleep (7-8 hours is what "they" recommend)
- Avoid sick people (A no brainer . . .)
- Wash your hands regularly (I am a big stickler on this point)
- Don't touch public items with your bare hands (Use a paper towel on the bathroom door handle)
- Stay positive (Your emotional state can impact you immunity)
- Eliminate stress (Again, immunity)
Most of these are common sense . . . however, they work! Stay healthy and save money!
