Were once synonymous.  Not anymore.  Yes, there is a small minority that is self reliant, but it used to be most everyone.  This country was founded on the idea of self reliance.  What happened?

• Got used to easy and convenient
• Forgot or failed to learn basic skills

We can learn to do for ourselves again.  We can learn to:
