Quick Dinner Idea: Asian Slow Cooked Chicken

Mrs. DDFD submitted this one-- I don't know where she found it.  This is on our menu for early next week-- I love Asian style chicken.  Simple, quick, easy, and frugal.  It serves four people.

Here's what you need:

  • 1 pound chicken breast strips
  • 1 lb. package frozen Asian veggies
  • 5 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 cups orange juice

Here what to do:

  • Add all of your ingredients into a mixing bowl
  • Mix well
  • Place in your crock-pot on medium heat
  • Stir occasionally
  • Allow to cook between 4-8 hours

Serve over rice.

Enjoy!
