Words of Wisdom: Henry David Thoreau on Things
Henry David Thoreau was an American author, poet, naturalist, and philosopher. Here are some of his thoughts on things:

- A man is rich in proportion to the number of things he can afford to let alone
- Things do not change; we change
- Our inventions are wont to be pretty toys, which distract our attention from serious things. They are but improved means to an unimproved end
