Back to Work Today After a Week With the Kids

I was off last week (still did some work) with my kids for their Spring Break.  The time with my daughter and son was worth it.  It was quality time without blowing big bucks.  Here is some of what we did:

  • Fishing (Opening Day and day after)
  • Vegetable gardening
  • Bowling (Had free passes-- paid $9 for three shoe rentals)
  • Hiking and exploring (You can't beat free!)
  • Movies (RedBox $1 a piece)
  • Tennis (Had the courts to ourselves)
  • Cooking (Special breakfasts, lunches, and dinners)
  • Breakfast out (Twice)
  • Lunch out (Once)

I don't think I spent more $50 on these extras.  It can be done on the cheap.
