Five hundred, that's quite an accomplishment. Congratulations! You've provided some great insights and suggestions to us all. Here's to your next 500 posts.
I just started a blog about my Boston Terrier companion, the Dude. I jotted down some notes about unique things to tell other Boston Terrier fans. I have nearly 100 ideas.
It's not clear that there are 500 things to tell people about the Dude, but time will tell. Like everything we write, it speaks to a passion we have within.
Keep these good posts coming at us.

Thank you, Clair.
Another blog! You talk about me-- I thought you had your hands full?
Will Dude be posting on the blog? That might get you press coverage . . .

I don't think Dude will be posting, but he'll most certainly be posing. We might even have some audio and video of my faithful companion. He sure takes some wonderful pictures.
You can find stories about Humper Go-Play Lickerson (a.k.a. Dude) here at: http://dude-the-boston.blogspot.com/
I know this is taking on more responsibility, but it gives me a great way to easily share with others about the wonderful dog that I was able to rescue (just in time) from the animal shelter 3 years ago.
The Dude and I go just about everywhere together, and he brings a lot of joy to folks around town. I know he'll serve as a source of amusement for others in distance places, and Boston Terriers are very popular.
I have no children, but I have the Dude. I'm happy with that, and so is he.
