Where Do I Get My Recipe Ideas From?
Yesterday, I posted on improving salads (Ways to Jazz Up a Salad . . .). Today, I thought I would share how I come up with these recipe posts. I get them from many sources . . . the same sources you could use as well.
I usually make them up from scratch (after you have learned to cook you can do that). However, I sometimes gather them from other sources:
- Experimentation (as I just mentioned)
- Copying restaurant dishes by taste
- Books/Magazines
- Internet searches
- Supermarket freebies (Want Some Free Recipes? Go to the Supermarket . . .)
- Product labels
- Referrals
- I ask people for recipes (It Never Hurts to Ask . . . (Part II) )
Be creative-- you can amass quite a collection of recipes.
