"It's Not Your Fault!"
Have you heard this phrase lately? I have heard it in 3-4 different TV and radio advertisements for 3-4 different advertisers. Thank you Madison Avenue for this "self-esteem building" movement for adults, never mind kids. I want to vomit when I hear these ads.
These ads are designed to sell loans, credit cards, rent-to-own furniture, and over-priced laptop computers with no credit checks.
I have news for the target audience of these ads-- It is your fault and responding to these ads will only compound your problems. Wake up!
We hear about the War on Drugs . . . what about a War on Instant Gratification, Over-Extending Yourself, and Affluenza?
Not going to happen, because even your government wants you to spend . . .
It's really sad, the marketing machine will try anything to sell you and some people never learn . . .

The salesman who succeeds in moving a lot of HIS stuff will no longer have to worry about making HIS ends meet. It is therefore in HIS financial interest to take advantage of anyone he can beguile.
Just as the salesman is looking out for HIS number one, you must look out for YOUR number one.
