Words of Wisdom: Earl Nightingale On Goals
Earl Nightingale was best known as a motivational writer and author. Here are his thoughts on goals:
- People with goals succeed because they know where they're going
- Picture yourself in your minds eye as having already achieved this goal. See yourself doing the things you'll be doing when you've reached your goal
- Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal or ideal
- The big thing is that you know what you want
- To achieve happiness, we should make certain that we are never without an important goal
- Your problem is to bridge the gap which exists between where you are now and the goal you intend to reach
- All you need is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press on to your destination
