Big Snow Today . . . Were You Prepared? A Preparedness Recap

Today, we got hit with 10 inches of snow.  Made me think about being prepared-- most people never are properly prepared. Here are some of my posts on being prepared:

On days like today, I always go back to the Boy Scout's Motto, "Be Prepared!"

It was nice to get an extra day of weekend too.

    I think it would be good for “someone” to make a list of disasters and the relative probability of each. For example earthquakes are probable in California, but we don’t know when. Ice storms are probable in North Carolina every year. Tornadoes are probable in Oklahoma every year. What do I actually need to prepare for?

      The Fema website and some of the state websites do that, but don't just rely on the government provided stuff-- use your own better judgment . . .
