Side Business Ideas (Part VIII): Physical Oriented
I have posted quite a bit lately on Multipreneuring and Defensive Entrepreneurship (see What is Multipreneuring? and What is Defensive Entrepreneurship?). I thought I would do a few posts on ideas for these sideline or moonlighting businesses.
In Side Business Ideas (Part VII): Educational Oriented, I focused on educational oriented businesses. Now let's look at physical businesses. If you have certain talents, skills, training, and knowledge-- here are some ideas (in alphabetical order):
- Hair stylist
- Massage therapist
- Nail Stylist
- Performer
- Personal Trainer
- Pet groomer, boarder, trainer, walker
- Stylist
- Yoga instructor
Always be mindful that you may need special training and/or licenses in your state or locality.
This concludes this series . . . by no means a complete list of opportunities, but enough to get started.

Here are two examples from my business site that chime right in on the idea of massage and nails as a sideline or full time business.
http://www.sensible-small-business-ideas.com/gel-nails.html is a gel nail business operated out of a salon where Vicki rents space.
http://www.sensible-small-business-ideas.com/massage-therapy.html is a massage therapist who operates out of her home. LouAnn gives wonderful massages.
I know both of these ladies, and they are very nice people with good skill and determination. Both also have other business interests to supplement their income.
