Oil Industry Revenues Plunge, Bailout Requested
The oil industry has seen its revenues plunge by nearly two-thirds and are now requesting immediate government bailout funds so they can pay their top executives hundreds of millions of dollars in bonuses . . .
Just kidding, but nothing would surprise me anymore. Actually, they won't need a bailout because the whole industry and the speculators are pushing for prices to rise again, and it appears they are succeeding.
I have said it before, don't be lulled into a sense of false security by lower prices on fuel. I have read many articles lately that we Americans are slipping back into our bad and wasteful fuel consumption habits.
