No mail today.  Snow started at Noon-- mail delivery is usually around 2:00 PM.  We have about eight inches as a few minutes ago.  All I can think of is the Postal Oath-- it goes something like this, "Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night stays these courageous couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds".

The funny thing is my wife had the flag up today, because she put a box of candy and a Christmas Card in the roadside box for our carrier . . .

Anyway, the candy will stay there tonight and be as hard as rocks and we will probably be sued when she breaks a tooth . . .
