Started and finished our Xmas shopping today in about four hours.  Minimal effort and aggravation-- best of all, under budget!  We parked where we found a spot and walked.  We were in stores that were not too crowded, we split up when needed to crush the list, and we didn't rush.  You really have to love one stop shopping--  we were in maybe-- four stores all within a block of each other.

The really good news is we can relax in the coming weeks as other fight parking spots and get frustrated in long lines.  We will be getting things done around the house, spending time with the kids, and having cocktails.
