Never, Ever Stop Learning . . .
As far as I am concerned my formal education ended years ago after I finished my second master's degree while working a full time job. I don't like sitting in a classroom and never will again. However, I do like quick 1-2 day professional development classes and I love what I call independent study and learning.
My view is that you should never stop learning. You should always develop new skills-- practical skills. How else are you going to become more self sufficient? Nowadays, I learn about cooking, gardening, plumbing, auto repair, heating with wood, fishing, wilderness survival, home repair and improvements, and organizing my time.
I firmly believe anyone can learn anything-- these days it is getting easier an easier thanks to the internet. I can decide I want to learn about something and within a few hours on the internet I can read, view pictures and videos, and learn other about other resources available at the library. Any topic under the sun . . .
For example, I am very interested in walking the Application Trial some day and have learned about the history, strategies, mail drops, and personal accounts-- all from the internet.
Using the internet to get up to speed on a topic or comparison shop can save you money too.
It can not be reiterated enough, always keep learning and growing-- you can teach an old dog new tricks . . .

If you stop learning, it's the same as going backwards or discharging your batteries. It makes no sense. Progress in any matter demands that we continue to learn and apply what we learn.
Lincoln said: "We must think anew and act anew." I believe Franklin said that the more we learn, the more we realize just how ignorant we are.
Many people believe life is for learning, so let's get with it and stay with it. I can't think of anything more intriguing or beneficial.
