Want a copy of your credit report from the three credit bureaus?  All you have to do is go to this website,  Annualcreditreport.com,  and once a year you can get a freebie by law.  You can also get a free copy of your report if you are turned down for credit.

Why would you want a copy?  Because it is more than likely riddled with inaccuracies (mine included wrong addresses, phone numbers, and accounts that I closed reported as closed by the card company) that need to disputed until they are fixed by you fighting to have them fixed.  I recently requested mine and found plenty of errors.  Needless to say, the certified letters to the credit bureaus will going out this week.

This is important stuff because your credit reports can impact loans, job applications, insurance applications, etc.
