Are You on a Diet?
Actually, we all are on a diet . . . the question is, is it a healthy one. You know the old joke, "I'm on a see-food diet-- I see food and I eat it!"
I tend to eat better when I am at home-- when I say "better", what I really mean is healthier. It is easier to eat three sensible meals at the house.
My problem is that I am on the road quite a bit, and the temptation for the quick, easy, and not so healthy is very great. Taking lunch with me isn't always practical either.
I am also of the belief that you can eat almost anything, as long as it is in moderation. Moderation is a tough one.
One thing I am trying to moderate is my soda input. I am trying to remember that it is really liquid candy and should be a treat, not a regular beverage. I have completely given it up before for about nine months straight, just to see if I could do it, but slowly drifted back into it.
I am going to try cutting it out again after Thanksgiving . . . we shall see how we do.
