Words of Wisdom: The Fine Line Between Success and Failure

There has always been a fine line between success and failure
, I have often marveled at the expression, "You can make the Baseball Hall of Fame even if you fail two out of every three times bat . . . "  Think about it.

Here are some more ideas in this light:

  • A winner is big enough to admit his mistakes, smart enough to profit from them and strong enough to correct them . . . John Maxwell, author and leadership coach
  • You miss 100% of the shots you never take . . . Wayne Gretzky, hockey player
  • Experience is not what happens to you.  It is what you do with what happens to you . . . Aldous Huxley, novelist
  • People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are.  The people who get on in this world are they who get up and look for circumstances they want, and, if they can’t find them, make them . . . George Bernard Shaw
  • Those who dare to fail miserably can achieve greatly . . .  Robert F. Kennedy, Politician
