I justed increased my 401(k) contributions and increased my variable universal life additional contributions.  Why would I do this you might ask?  Because it is time to invest . . .

Don't know about you, but I like to buy low and sell high . . . My feeling is that the financial markets are presenting us with a unique opportunity to buy assets on sale.  History shows big down years are usually followed by big up years.  (See my post, Is the Sky Falling? No.)

My planned retirement is 20 years away, and I don't think I will ever get this sort of opportunity again.

Smart money buys in turmoil and profits on the rebound.  Just look at Warren Buffet, perhaps the most successful investor there is alive today.  About a week ago, he announced he was buying stocks, American stocks-- that's a vote of confidence!

Bottomline: The time to invest is now . . .
