I saw a "money saving" article today that said to beat bank ATM fees you should go out of your way to use only your bank's ATM-- of course, but not always practical.  I have a way to get around that problem.  Just go to a supermarket, drugstore, or any store that allows you cashback and make a small purchase of something you want or use anyway.

Why give the bank $2 for nothing?  The worst is that sometimes your own bank hits you again with their own fee if you use an "outside" ATM-- it's nuts. 

Go to the store, buy an iced tea for $1.49 and get $100 cash-- at least you got something of value to get access to your cash!
