The Joy of To-Do Lists
I love to-do lists. They help me organize and provide me personal satisfaction when tasks are completed. They also help me remember key tasks so I don't waste time. I view time like money-- only more valuable. Time is an evaporating asset-- once it is gone it can't be recaptured.
My to-do lists are daily, weekly, and monthly. Sometimes I have longer time frames.
The lists can be work or business oriented (work projects and tasks) or they can be personal (things to-do around the house). I even carry shopping lists-- new items, used items, and groceries. I use them for bills and debts too.
I try to keep them on small 3x5 index cards or the back of business cards or even a post-it note.
It is an amazing feeling to cross off items and even better when so many items are crossed off that you have to create a new list.
Using to-do lists saves time, money, and aggravation-- that works for me.
